Our inaugural class is on the timely and critically important subject of immune health, and the herbs, nutrients and foods that we can use to boost immunity. We will start with an overview of what exactly the immune system is and does, and how it interacts with other systems of the body. Once we know what it is and how it works, we can clearly and easily see how and why specific herbs lend support. We will explore and sample many of my favorite medicinal herbs and foods and discuss practical ways you can be more healthy immediately, and improve your health over time.
We will learn about deep immune tonics as we drink Deep Immune Support Soup, and understand the importance of adaptogens as we eat tasty mushroom-cacao Herbal Morsels and sip Spiced Elderberry Syrup. And you'll go home with notes filled with recipes and ideas for putting the information into practice right away!
Knowing how our bodies work is empowering, important work. It gives us agency over our health and allows us to understand ourselves more deeply.
